Specifications include, but are not limited to: The proposed work shall be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications and other contract documents and shall consist of the following: The work consists of selective demolition and new tenant improvements construction in the continuously occupied Police buildings. The work areas will be unoccupied however most work takes place in close proximity to Police staff. As a consequence isolation of the work are a control of dust, fumes, noise, and general job cleanliness are all very important. Use of zippered containment and separation enclosures is required. In general terms the work includes the relocation of walls doors and casework, repair and replacement of acoustical panel ceilings, new doors and hardware, replacement of flooring, adjustment of existing and the addition of new lighting, controls and HVAC ducting and registers sprinkler adjustments and exterior painting, and signage for the City of Elk Grove.
